Excavating & Grading

I’m pleased to recommend BANR Enterprises to your company.  Over the past 10 years, I worked directly with Scott Davis, president of BANR, on numerous excavating, utility projects, and wetland mitigation.  Their services and creativity are top-notch, and we have been very pleased with the work they’ve done for us.

Most recently BANR completed the clearing and site fill for Meridian Park Phase II. This entailed extensive erosion control, timber falling, stump removal, onsite brush grinding, import and placement of fill material, storm drainage, seeding, and restoration.

Through the years, BANR has been on time and on budget with their projects for our company. I recommend them without hesitation and would hire them again if given the opportunity.

I have property in Sisters that needed to be prepped for a future home dig out. There were large rocks and debris that needed to be removed, as well as easing the driveway approach and removing excess dirt. I called several excavators in the area and after a month or so realized they were too busy to consider taking my job.

I was referred to Scott Davis of BANR Enterprises and was pleasantly surprised when Scott received my call and scheduled a time to meet at my property. Scott was able to work me into his busy schedule, showed up on time and he and his crew made quick and efficient work of prepping my property. I will confidently refer BANR Enterprises to anyone in the future.

In June of 2008, the J Bar L started work on a nearly nine-month construction project.  BANR Enterprises was the selected site work contractor.

The project scope: timber falling, brush and stump removal, road sub-grade preparation, crushed rock surfacing and paving, storm drain and culvert installation, foundation excavation and backfill, embankment cut and fill, electrical trenching and conduit, boulder retaining walls.

BANR completed these items with quality and in a cost-effective and timely manner. I would definitely recommend Scott and his BANR team for any project of this magnitude.

We recently hired BANR Enterprises to pave the gravel driveway on our property in Sisters Oregon.

From the first site visit that Scott Davis made to the perfect completion of our beautiful new driveway, this company was a delight to work with.

Talk about attention to detail! These guys are perfectionists. We really appreciated their knowledge on all phases of the paving project: materials planning, grading, and drainage considerations, excavating, compacting, and then the ultimate finish— a wonderful asphalt paving job.

Plus Scott and his team were always in touch with us—communicating and keeping us posted on progress all along the way.

All of the crew were top-notch each of them experts in their craft and very courteous while on our site.

Surprises? Nope—we were given a prompt written estimate to review. They made us feel at ease about asking questions and really gave us clarity on what our driveway would look like.

Final thoughts: we never thought a “driveway” could make such a difference in the beauty of our property, but BANR’s work really shines!

Scott, his crew, and his subcontractor relationships fulfilled their promise of work to the fullest extent possible and, in addition, provided multiple suggestions and beneficial work idea-improvements that allowed for the original vision of the project to be enhanced. Such was given to me with no intention or motivation to increase the cost of the project but, clearly, simply to perform a better job and exceed my expectations – a character trait of Scott Davis for which it became quickly apparent exists. The result was a vastly improved home-site and subsequent valuation of the home. Attention to detail is an attitude many times presented and sold, but not always fulfilled during contract performance, completion of follow-up phases. The Work was done on time and as proposed with no surprises or changes necessary.  The skill of Lonny, the principal equipment operator, was truly remarkable!  The driveway was completed with 3” of asphalt which will prove to be a much more durable and long-lasting surface.

Holm Bros is a general contracting company specializing in concrete tilt-up buildings.  Often times our projects involve all aspects of construction including civil work.  Over the years we have maintained a core group of sub-contractors that have included BANR Enterprises LLC.

We were the general contractor on the Haltiner Sheet Metal Building in Tualatin. With BANR as our selected site contractor, we embarked on an eight-month project that involved clearing and grubbing, sanitary sewer, storm drain, foundation excavation, slab preparation, parking lot grading, and paving.

It also included significant offsite improvements including storm drain, curbs, and paving. Our experience has been that BANR and specifically Scott Davis’s relationship with the City of Tualatin as well as other agencies and utilities have been very professional and beneficial to the budget and the timely cornp}etion of our projects.

Recently we worked with Scott on a unique project at Stack Metallurgical in Portland that required piling and sheets for shoring the excavation inside of a building on an underground structure. Due to working in the confines of an operating facility, this project was a challenge.
